Shower Doors

Shower doors can be broken down into two main categories: Frameless (also called Euro style) and Framed.

Euro shower doors are Heavy glass (meaning 3/8” or 1/2” thick) and therefore need little hardware, typically just a handle, hinges, and clips for fixed panels although at times header bars are required for structural reasons.

Framed or Semi-Frameless shower doors are built from 3/16” or 1/4” thick glass so they need the aluminum framing around the perimeter. The advantage is that they typically are a more affordable option.
